Below are a few of the unsolved crimes that the Yale Police Department is currently working on.  If you have any information about these crimes please go the crime tip page and report your information anonymously.  You can also come into the Police Station.  Please do not let these criminals get away. 

Case # Y-09-0126
On the evening of November 23rd, 2009, officers responded to the Assembly Church for a possible larceny from a vehicle.  Victim reported that unknown persons entered her vehicle and stole a 14 mega-pixel digital camera, seven 1.4GB Memory Cards, 6 2GB Memory Cards, rechargeable battery and a blue and dark gray camera bag, which were in a pink striped tote bag.  The camera is a Kodak Easy Share Model Z1485IS.  The victim’s vehicle was parked near the corner of B Street and Broadway Street.  Officer Rob McAlister

Case # Y-09-0118
On the 8th day of November, 2009, at approximately 0240 hours a white male, 5’10, 160lbs, Bro Hair, wearing an orange T-shirt with blue jeans, entered the Yale Laundry Mat and broke into the vending machines.  The subject drilled holes into the locks of two machines using a Dewalt Drill.  The subject stole approximately $250 in change.   Subject was possibly accompanied by an unknown person and driving a white vehicle.  Officer Rob McAlister

On the 1st day of November, 2009, in the evening hours, an unknown person entered the victim’s vehicle and stole her wallet containing credit cards, Drivers License, JC Penny’s card and $400 in cash.  The vehicle was parked near the corner of B Street and Broadway Street.  This case similar to Case # Y-09-0126.  Officer Mike Kissler
